I normally don’t like it when animals are dressed up, but this is just too cute.
he just looks so smart!
Omg, seriously?? way to be totally bias. I think I will do one about Democrats now..
I’m going need to find a XXL t-shirt for that, though.
I’m just kidding, clearly I won’t do that. I do think it’s absolutely ridiculous that you waste your time posting things like that.
Of course the majority of college students are Democratic, it leaves room for exploring and it will be that way until you are out in the real world. I can’t wait for peoples’ views to change when the rules actually apply to them.
That’s funny, because that’s how I feel about young people who vote Republican. Wait until you’re my age and a parent and struggling to get by because the rich politicians only care about their campaign donors.
By the way, it’s “way to be totally biased”.
OP: You “won’t do that” because YOU CAN’T THINK OF ANYTHING. But here are some ideas!
I voted Democrat and all I got was some health insurance, extended unemployment, more rights (abortion, marijuana, gay marriage), and the knowledge that if something terrible happened to me and I had no family or friends to support me, I would never have to be homeless and destitute. And if I ever make a lot of money — which I will, some day — I’ll have to pay a tiny bit more of it to make sure every American has the same safety net. WORTH IT.
I’m “out in the real world” now, and I am thrilled to be a Democrat.

a brief reminder for anyone voting tea party/republican in the upcoming election:
if someone shares the same ‘values’ as you, it does not mean that they make a good candidate.
you can have a beer with your ignorant friends, but you don’t have to send them to washington to represent you.

[If health-care reform passes, we’re] gonna have a government rationing body that tells women with breast cancer, ‘You’re dead.’ It’s a death sentence.
–sean hannity, spreading lies about healthcare reform. how surprising. (via stfuteabaggers)
hmmm … but it’s the big insurance companies that will cut you coverage, deny you future coverage for an existing condition. oh and let’s not forget they often deny payment for genetic testing to tell if women have the genetic markers for ovarian cancer. it takes a dr to call and say that it’s needed.

Via The Green StateTim Gunn, of “Project Runway” fame, tried to kill himself when he was 17. In a public service announcement for the Trevor Project — a suicide prevention hot line for “gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered and questioning youths” — an emotional Gunn says, “When I woke up the next morning after taking more than 100 pills, I was in a whole other level of despair. I thought I shouldn’t be here. This isn’t what was meant to be … I am very happy today that attempt was unsuccessful … It gets better. It really does.

azspot:Americans Are Horribly Misinformed About Who Has Money
“The top row shows the actual distribution of wealth in America. The richest 20 percent, represented by that blue line, has about 85 percent of the wealth. The next richest 20 percent, represented by that red line, has about 10 percent of the wealth. And the remaining three-fifths of America shares a tiny sliver of the country’s wealth.
Below that, the “Estimated” rows show how different groups think wealth is distributed. As you can see, in people’s misinformed minds things are much more equitable.”
<so very not surprising>
But don’t you DARE tax that wealth!
shocking … err … not so much.
